Grants and Assistance

Warm Homes

The Warm Homes Scheme is funded by the Department of Social Development (DSD). The scheme can provide:

· Loft Insulation (will top-up existing insulation)

· Benefit Entitlement Checks

To be eligible for this scheme the applicant must be an owner occupier or privately renting your property plus be in receipt of at least ONE of the following qualifying benefits:

A Warm Homes Plus scheme is also available which includes:

· The Warm Homes Insulation Package (see above)

· Installation of a fully controlled energy efficient oil or gas heating system where no system exists, or,

· Conversion of a solid fuel, LPG bottled gas or an economy 7 system to oil or natural gas.

· Four Energy Efficiency Light bulbs

This scheme is available to the following people:

　 · Single person household with less that £18,000 gross income/pension

· Couple/Single parent family with less than £25,000 gross income/pension

Couple/Single parent family with less than £25,000 gross income/pension

· 70+ years old, single/couple household with less than £30,000 gross income/pension

　 You may benefit from the above insulation package plus installation of a fully controlled energy efficient oil or gas heating system where the property has solid fuel, economy 7 or where no system exists.

Funding is limited with grants available on a first come first served basis.
